Dr. Premik B. Nagad is a spine specialist in Mumbai with over 25 years of experience in spine care and is currently practicing at Wockhardt Hospitals, Mumbai Central.
He completed his medical education and Diploma in Orthopaedics in Bijapur, Karnataka, at Shri BM Patil Medical College, and later earned his Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Orthopaedics from Pushpagiri Institute of Medical Sciences, Thiruvalla, Kerala.
In 2008, he joined Dr. Abhay Nene as an observer and progressed to become a clinical fellow and associate spine surgeon, with responsibilities including coordinating surgeries and fellowship programs. In 2012, he joined Dr. Bhojraj as an associate and coordinator of Spine Foundation Fellowships.
He has completed fellowships at Brazos Spine, Texas, and Rush Institute, Chicago, and is currently a trustee at the Spine Foundation. Alongside his clinical practice, he is involved in coordinating fellowship programs and Regional Spine Care Centres across Maharashtra and India.
Dr. Nagad specialises in minimally invasive, reconstructive, and cervical spine surgery, and manages conditions such as fractures, spinal stenosis, and disc herniation. He has also completed an advanced fellowship in minimally invasive spine surgery at Rush University Medical Center, Chicago.
He has contributed to work on the Tuberculosis Spine Cases Registry, focusing on improving the understanding and treatment of spinal tuberculosis. He is also available for consultation at Breach Candy Hospital and Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai.

We are very happy with dr. Premik nagad My mom Harsha gala had a back problem n when we first met him he was very humble in talking n adviced us to go for an MRI and get the reports to him When we did that after seeing the reports he said that surgery is needed but seeing my mom physically he did not think its needed so he adviced us to take rest n do physiotherapy n see the result . If there is an improvement then there is no need of surgery ... we had a very good experience with him
